An ideal neutral density filter reduces light of all wavelengths or colors equally. The purpose of standard photographic neutral density filters is to allow the photographer greater flexibility to change the aperture or exposure time, allowing for more control, particularly in extreme circumstances. Suppose the daylight is too strong for your photograph, the neutral density filter can reduce the light strength entering your camera. Density filter also named ND filter or Gray filter. Density filter is an important optical filter to photographer.
Although most of density filter is work at visible wavelength, in some special case, ETAFILM is also requested to make the density filter extend to 900nm. ETAFILM share 70% density filter market in Taiwan. And supply almost every type of density filter.
