UV Cut Filters or UV Long Pass Filters (ultra violet cut / blocking, visible light pass)

UV-cut filters are long pass filters that block the UV wavelength range and transmit the visible. They are used in front of CCD or CMOS
lens to protect the sensor from UV light, in absence of internal protection in the camera. In addition, they are often used to protect
expensive lens from potential damage.

UV Short Pass Filters
Apply:
UV Short Pass is often used with UV light source such as Xenon or Mercury lamp. Allow a certain UV band wavelength to transmit. This UV band wavelength light can drive out specific function such UV glue, substance detection. The substrate is usually used by fuse silica which has high durability and high transmittance in UV range.
UVIR Blockers (Ultraviolet - Infrared blocking, visible light pass, also named Heat Isolation, Cold mirror)
Apply:
UVIR blockers could block the ultraviolet, infrared lights, and transmit the visible lights. It could block the heat generating from light source, preventing the potential damage of internal optical system. They are widely used in stage light, projector, also named as Heat Isolation, Cold Mirror.
